If Mom's Mission is Organziation, Her Weapon is MomAgenda!

Momagendalogo I am "Mom"...keeper of the family social calendar, maker of appointments, planner of parties, caretaker of the kiddo and the pets.  The best tool I have found to help me get-it-together and keep-it-together is the MomAgenda.  After two years away from a 9-5 working-woman's lifestyle and 2 missed pick-up apointments at Dinner My Way, I decided it was time to get a planner.  I have carried a planner since 7th grade, where as the perfectionista teacher's pet, I jotted down every assignment and lunch hour club meeting to ensure I'd never miss a beat and safeguard my perfectionista future.  However, leaving that 9-5 world to start my own business, I threw caution to the wind and have since been searching the word "calendar" on Google every time I needed to know the date.  Now that I've got Emme and a growing business, this just won't do.  I've been browsing for the perfect Mom Organizer and came across MomAgenda a few months back.  I purchased a MomAgenda at Paper Source back in August for my best friend-turned-Mommy-Friend, Laura, and have been pining for one since.  Well, now I've got it...

Desktopopen My MomAgenda is a beautiful, silky bubblegum pink that makes me feel so "Mommy-fied" I can hardly stand it!  The day it arrived in the mail, I immediately filled in appointments, holiday parties, birthdays, social commitments and an upcoming trip to Palm Springs.   Filling in my planner felt like coming home to an old friend.  How did I get through the last two years without an agenda?  I can see that MomAgenda will be keeping my family organized for years to come.  It's one very classy desktop organizer and even has a grown-up satin ribbon to keep my place.

My Favorite Features of the MomAgenda Products:

1)The sassy cover colors are yummy grown-up versions of little girl favorites in pink, purple, blue, lime and chocolate...not to mention the elegant silky texture!

2) The Monthly views are all together at the front so you can see the whole year at a glance without flipping through.  The Daily views have a special spot for each member of the family (customize to suit your own family configuration) so it doesn't get all jumbled up and there is even a spot for "dinner"--that nagging daily task that only a mom would realize was a big enough deal to put in a planner!

3) Lots of room for notes in the back and special pages for Birthdays, Gift Tracking, Party Planning, Vacation Planning and list of books, music, restaurants, wines...everything you might usually jot down somewhere and forget about;)

4)  The address book in the back comes out so you can put it in next year's planner without writing it all out again!

5)  There is also a Mini version of the desktop planner great for Mommies on the Go.  I find that anything I take out of the house is at risk of getting lost, so the desktop planner works for me:)

6)  The coordinating Kitchen Folio is great for keeping together forms and papers needed for school-age and daycare kiddos.

7)  Adorable little notepads for "Things To Do" and "Babysitter Info" are actually useful.  There are lots of flashy little Babysitter notepad-type of things out there, but this is one I'd actually use!

I'm not the only fan of MomAgenda...Check out the buzz in the press and a review from a fellow Mommy Blogger at So Called Me!

Tiny Revolutionary Babywear--The Revolution Starts at Home!

Index_logo1Not just any old baby tee... I immediately contacted the ladies at Tiny Revolutionary when I came across their collection of T-shirts about a week ago!   The graphics and sayings on these tee's are just what revolutionary Mommies are looking for.  See for yourself by checking out www.tinyrevolutionary.com.

Now that I've got a t-shirt in hand, I can see that Tiny Revolutionary tee's are "love at first touch."  If it weren't enough that the tee's "Speak the Truth", they are the quality that Mommies and Babies crave.  They are just what they say they are, "100% Sweatshop Free, 100% of the Softest Cotton You'll Ever Feel, 100% Pre-Shrunk, 100% Awesome!"  I'd like to add to this list, 100% Creative and 100% unique!  For those looking for some babywear that stands out from the crowd, check out the duds from Tiny Revolutionary.com

The genius behind Tiny Revolutionary comes in the form of 2 Mommies in LOVE with their baby girl.
BreeAnne Clowdus and Courtney Howe are savvy, creative and revolutionary in the way they live and the way they do business. I can totally relate to BreenAnne and Courtney...a passion for social justice, a passion for their woman-owned business and that "business" about being in LOVE with your baby girl.  Did you see the latest pictures of my baby, Emme?  Okay, so back to Tiny Revolutionary:) Click here to see who else is buzzzzing about Tiny Revolutionary!

We are Giddy for Giddy Giddy Hair Clippies!

Giddygiddy It's pretty easy to develop an obsession with infant hair accessories these days.  There are seemingly endless choices in the world of baby hair clips and all are pretty darn cute. But, many require some pretty luscious baby locks to stay clipped in and not be lost in carseat/stroller/carrier/diaper bag oblivion the first time your baby wear it out of the house!  To the untrained eye, Emme appears to have very little hair.  However, her Mommy knows that she has just enough hair to wear a Giddy Giddy baby hair clip everyday of the week!  We've tried many other types of hair clips and many other have worked marginally well, but Giddy Giddy hair clips work exceptionally well...and we're not just saying that!  Emme actually wears a Giddy Giddy hair clip all the time.  They look so cute that I'll go out of my way to develop an outfit that perfectly suits one of her hair accessories.  Giddy Giddy hair clips were designed by real moms and are just what you are looking for when you envision fun, whimsical and crafty looking hair accessories for your baby girl!

Just this weekend, we spent the afternoon at the California State University, Long Beach, Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden.  Emme looked super cute in her Mini Boden polka dot t-shirt and corduroy "baggies" and we pulled the look together with a Giddy Giddy flower clippie in red and blue.  See the cuteness for yourself...

My Flower Fairy Princess on Halloween!

Emme dressed up (or shall I say, I dressed Emme up?) as a Flower Fairy for Halloween this past Wednesday!  Everyone raved about her darling little Baby Halloween Costume from Gymboree and asked me if I made it.  Now, when somebody asked you if you made your child's costume, this could be a compliment OR not a compliment:)  In this case, I think it means she looked fabulous.  Emme wore her costume from 10AM to 8PM, loving every dramatic moment of the day.  I have never seen this baby happier than she was the day she donned this adorable costume.  I'm really gonna be in for it when she figures out what the Disney Princesses are!!!  We strolled up and down 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, CA with Emme's Uncle Geoff and his girlfriend, Marcia, "trick-or-treating", more for compliments that for candy, and had a ball!

Hope your Halloween for a hoot, too!

Here she is...in all her Fairy Princess Glory!
